For research institutions

The PARLO Institute has a database of therapies for stutter patients that is globally unique, collected over ten years. PARLO uses research-based methods of therapy and is a sought-after consultant for developing standards of therapy and for carrying out studies in the future. PARLO offers clients a completed process, from evaluation design to the patient base, from documentation to final publication.

PARLO works intensively with the Universities of Goettingen and Bochum, which are leaders in medical research in the area of stuttering therapy in Germany. Numerous joint publications of research projects exist already. Scientific contacts exist in international research, as well.  This collaboration is intended to be further deepened and developed, in both the fundamentals as well as the evaluation and application of new forms of therapy.

The PARLO Institute considers itself a leading non-university research institution and intends to expand this position. Aside from primary stuttering therapy, efforts exist to apply the gained insight on other disorders as well. At the Kasseler Stuttering Therapy (KST), an associated institution, a large number of patients receive on-going treatment, allowing PARLO to offer its partnership in studies on stuttering.
